In the beginning was the new blog

I'm sure 2021(and every new January) is a time of new blogs and new resolutions. And so I am here, having put aside old blogs and given myself more time to think than write.

Oldest daughter is Goose

Second daughter is Lark

Third son is Sparrow

Fourth daughter is Chickadee

Husband is... husband.

Today I talked to Goose's teacher as we prepare to do at-home teaching this next month. In July, she was diagnosed with a rare seizure disorder and it's been the roller-coaster of treatment and intervention. She had neurosurgery in December and is still struggling. Epilepsy is a horrid monster.

We've tried so many different learning styles with her, and I'm now playing with more resources to make the most out of her audible learning process with the delay in vision and processing.

This blog will be a compilation of resources and our experiences.
